In the 1950’s O. & M. Hausser started to develop the modern
Elastolin figure as we know it. By using the most modern materials
available, their outstanding sculptors and tool makers were able to
create the finest impressions and detailing to produce the modern
Elastolin figure. An excellent but costly range was developed which
has, since 1983, been integrated within the Preiser range and
brought back to the market with exquisitely hand painted figures of
Romans and Normans; Knights on horseback or on foot; Castle
maiden; Pages and Mercenaries; Indians and trappers; Prussians 1756; US Civil War; German Reich Wehrmacht.
