1938 composite toy soldiers production video

A German factory in Thuringia manufacturing composite toy soldiers in 1938 ; the various stages of production (F.Fischer or Marolin ?)The video was found in the Instituto Luce archive. The Institute, based in Rome, was a powerful propaganda tool of the Musolini’s fascist regime in Italy.

  1. A nice find, these look like the pin/broach figures that were made to be sold for the WHW (WinterHilfsWerk) charity. The alpine soldier with skis is quite common, they were more of a ceramic than masse composition.

  3. Sorry I don't know who made these particular figures, all sorts of things were produced by lots of companies all over Germany for the WHW, I will ask some of my friends.
