Haw Par Villa (Tiger Balm Garden) is a theme park located along Pasir Panjang Road in Singapore. The park contains over 1,000 statues and 150 giant dioramas depicting scenes from Chinese mythology, folklore, legends, history, and illustrations of various aspects of Confucianism.The park was opened in 1937 and continues as a tourist attraction. The photos below demonstrate the park dioramas propagandizing key Confucian virtues, including loyalty , filial piety , benevolence , affection, trustworthiness , righteousness , harmony , peace , propriety, wisdom, integrity and shame.
