Lineol composition soldiers: General von Seeckt, Generalstab and the tinplate map table.

Adding some photos of the German Generalstab (Fuhrergruppe) produced by Lineol in 30s. The officer on the left is the portrait of General Hans von Seeckt (1866 -1936), although not described as such in the Lineol catalogue reference to this group.The bending officer on the right was made only for this Lineol map table. You can also notice that some figurines are produced in the "Danish" version (these figurines are wearing Danish helmet M1923). The Generalstab tent was produced by Elastolin.

Royal Air Force : Sopwith Camel

The Sopwith Camel was a British First World War single-seat biplane fighter aircraft that was introduced on the Western Front in 1917. It was developed by the Sopwith Aviation Company as a successor to the Sopwith Pup and became one of the best known fighter aircraft of the Great War.

These composition Red Army soldiers were produced by Durso (Belgium) in 30s. The tinplate armored car was produced by Gustav Buchmann, Langnau (Switzerland).

These Lineol Wehrmacht attacking soldiers were designed by Albert Caasmann (June 2, 1886 – March 23, 1968). Albert Caasmann was born June 2, 1886 in Berlin, Germany. From 1909 to 1919, he worked as a freelancer for the Berlin toy company Lineol, founded by Oskar Wiederholz in 1906. After service as a soldier in the First World War, he became the leading designer and production manager of Lineol from 1919 to 1952. He designed over 600 figures for Lineol, including soldiers, animals, Indians, knights, fairy figures, and railroad figures.

This Wehrmacht cavalryman was produced by Elastolin (#441) was produced by Elastolin from 1939 till 1941. This soldier has a "movable sword arm". This is only one Elastolin cavalry figure that has this functionality. The Belgian injured soldiers on these photos were produced by Lineol in early 30s.
