Lineol: Danish and Swiss troops in winter camouflage
The Lineol soldiers in snowsuits are not mentioned in Lineol catalogs. It can therefore be assumed that they were
produced during the war (approx. from 1939). These figures are found more often with Danish / Swiss helmets, less often with
German helmet (Stahlhelm). The painting is not different.
Probably the one variant for export to Switzerland and Denmark used while the German variant was produced for domestic sales and export to Sweden.
These "winter" figures are quite rare. And of course, these figures attract counterfeiters to “paint over”. An exact examination is therefore
essential !
