WW1 Hand-to-hand combat between German and French troops...

In 20s and 30s Elastolin produced soldiers of many foreign armies. Here I have a hand-to-hand combat between German and French troops. It is interesting to note that Elastolin made original sculpting of French soldiers. Other foreign armies produced by Elastolin usually had bodies of German soldiers painted in colours of these armies with customised heads. For instance, heads wearing the M15 Adrian helmets were installed for French soldiers, and heads with the Brodie helmets were added to figures representing the British and the U.S. armies.
