Stoßtrupp 1917 and Elastolin soldiers

Stoßtrupp 1917 (Shock Troop) is a 1934 German war film directed by Hans ZΓΆberlein. It shows German soldiers fighting in the trenches during the First World War. It was based on the novel Der Glaube an Deutschland by Hans ZΓΆberlein. Some photos of  Elastolin and Kienel composition soldiers that were produced in 30s (Germany).

GAMA panzer

This GAMA panzer was produced around 1944/45 - at the Third Reich collapse. It's a quite rare find. The Panzerwaffe soldiers are produced by Kienel, Elastolin and Lineol. The turret officer is a Lineol conversion.

WW1 White Cossacks from Neumann (Belgium)

Neumann &Co - Belgian composition toy soldier producing company was established in 1931 by Neumann brothers, the association of the two gunsmiths Ernest and Georges. This rare white Cossack was produced by Neumann in 30s (Liege, Belgium).Some collectors believe that the pre-war Neumann Cossacks were designed by White Army immigrants, Neumann workers, living in Liege.

Belgian army in World War II

Despite being neutral at the start of World War II, Belgium was invaded by German forces on 10 May 1940. After 18 days of fighting in which Belgian forces were pushed back into a small pocket in the north-west of the country, the Belgian military surrendered to the Germans, beginning an occupation that would endure until 1944. Lionel 70 mm compositon soldiers represent Belgian army forces. (Germany, 30s).
