Ernst Röhm composition figurine by Lineol
Ernst Julius Günther Röhm (28 November 1887 – 1 July 1934) was a German military officer and an early member of the Nazi Party.
During the politically turbulent early days of the Third Reich, Lineol and Elastolin were careful to promote or suddenly suppress personality cameos, no doubt causing knee-jerk reactions in production and cataloguing. Ernst Röhm was murdered on the Night of the Long Knives in June 1934 after his portrait figure had been made by both Lineol and Elastolin, but both firms were able to remove his name from the catalogue before publication and the figures were sold as anonymous SA men. My Ernst Röhm figurine was produced by Lineol.
