INGAP tinplate military vehicles 🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹
INGAP (Industria Nazionale Toys Automatici Padova) was an Italian toy company founded in 1919 and active until 1972. It was founded by Tullio Anselmi and, in the period of greatest expansion, reached 600 employees in 1938. Production ranged from tin toys, intercom telephones, radio-controlled cars and other high-tech games with design and construction of molds in its well-equipped workshop, by highly specialized personnel. The catalog then numbered 400 models.
In 1964, INGAP began its decline, culminating in 1972, when it was absorbed by Eurotoys.

Japanese tinplate toys 🇯🇵🇺🇸
After the World War 2, tin toys were produced in large numbers in Japan. Under occupation, manufacturers in Japan were granted the right to resume production. The idea was to give Japan all of the low profit; high labor manufacturing and the US companies could sell the imported product. It worked better than they had expected and Japan became a tin toy manufacturing force until the end of the 1950s. In the 1960s cheaper plastic and new government safety regulations ended the reign of tin toys. Presently, China has taken over the role of the leading tin toy manufacturing country.

Nuragic civilization bronzes
The Nuragic civilization, also known as the Nuragic culture, was a civilization or culture on the Mediterranean island of Sardinia, which lasted from the 18th century BC (Middle Bronze Age) (or from the 23rd century BC) up to the Roman colonization in 238 BC.
Some Nuraghe bronzes clearly portray the figures of chief-kings, recognizable by their wearing a cloak and carrying a staff with bosses. Also depicted are other classes, including miners, artisans, musicians, wrestlers (the latter similar to those of the Minoan civilizations) and many fighting men, which has led scholars to think of a warlike society, with precise military divisions (archers, infantrymen). Different uniforms could belong to different cantons or clans, or to different military units. The priestly role may have been fulfilled by women. Some small bronzes also give clues about Nuragic personal care and fashion. Women generally had long hair; men sported two long braids on each side of the face, while their head hair was cut very short or else covered by a leather cap.

Ancient city of Nora ⚔️🇮🇹⚔️🇮🇹⚔️🏛️🏛️🏛️
It was the first Phoenician city in Sardinia (8th century BC), an important commercial crosswords and port of enviable location, in the isthmus of Capo Pula, from which it was possible to set sail in any weather. Nora, which developed fully in the 4th century BC under Punic rule, was conquered by the Romans in 238 BC and became a municipium in the 1st century AC. During the two following centuries, it lived its maximum splendour: urban growth and eight thousand inhabitants, in addition to being caput viae, the starting point of all of the roads on the islands. Of this flourishing city, fascinating remains can be seen at the archaeological park of Pula.

Its stated purpose was to celebrate the completion of the Panama Canal, but it was widely seen in the city as an opportunity to showcase its recovery from the 1906 earthquake.
The giant toy soldiers were set at the entrance to Toyland on "The Zone", the amusement section of the exposition.
