Kaiserliche Marine - German Imperial Navy WW1 🇾🇪🌊🌊⚓️🚢💥

The Kaiserliche Marine (Imperial Navy) was the navy of the German Empire, which existed between 1871 and 1919. By the start of the First World War, the German Imperial Navy possessed 22 pre-Dreadnoughts,14 dreadnought battleships and 4 battle-cruisers. A further three ships of the König class were completed between August and November 1914, and two Bayern-class battleships entered service in 1916. The battlecruisers Derfflinger, Lützow, and Hindenburg were completed in September 1914, March 1916, and May 1917, respectively. These wooden ship models (scale 1:1250) were produced in Germany in 20s. Here we can see Helgoland-class battleship SMS Ostfriesland (1908 - 1920),two Super-dreadnoughts - SMS Bayern (1913-1919) and SMS Baden (1913 - 1919), and Light Cruiser SMS Breslau (1910 -1918).

During the Russian Civil War (1917–1923), Leon Trotsky, the Soviet People's Commissar of Defense from 1918 to 1925, used an armored train to travel between Red Army fronts and as a secure command and propaganda center. I have put together this Trotsky's train using the Bing's old train and old German tinplate construction set. Red Army composition soldiers from Durso and GJ (Belgium). There are also some soldiers produced by Elastolin and Lineol.

Elastolin wounded soldiers 🏥

Elastolin produced the fugure of dead German soldier (Toter soldat) (0/652/15, 652/15) from 1933 to 1939. This figure is well-known to collectors. I have found another version of this figure with ellements of battlefield terrain. The figure is marked as Elastolin and has metal wire elements inside. It would be interesting to find out if it was actually produced by Elastolin or this is an example of somebody's DIY work.
