Kaiserliche Marine - German Imperial Navy WW1 πΎπͺππ⚓️π’π₯
The Kaiserliche Marine (Imperial Navy) was the navy of the German Empire, which existed between 1871 and 1919.
By the start of the First World War, the German Imperial Navy possessed 22 pre-Dreadnoughts,14 dreadnought battleships and 4 battle-cruisers. A further three ships of the KΓΆnig class were completed between August and November 1914, and two Bayern-class battleships entered service in 1916. The battlecruisers Derfflinger, LΓΌtzow, and Hindenburg were completed in September 1914, March 1916, and May 1917, respectively.
These wooden ship models (scale 1:1250) were produced in Germany in 20s. Here we can see Helgoland-class battleship SMS Ostfriesland (1908 - 1920),two Super-dreadnoughts - SMS Bayern (1913-1919) and SMS Baden (1913 - 1919), and Light Cruiser SMS Breslau (1910 -1918).
