Hausser/Elastolin 788/2 Twin AA Machine Gun Trailer ๐ฉ️๐ฉ️๐ฉ️ ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ
This rare horse drawn anti-aircraft unit produced by Elastolin is a good model of the real item (7,92 mm Zwillingssockel-36) used extensively in Eastern Europe in World War II. It is first shown as 788/2 in the Elastolin 1939 catalogue and was sold with postillion, two limber figures and a gunner. The guns are metal
and the sound of rapid firing is simulated when a small lever at the back of the trailer is turned. A leg drops to support the trailer on its own. There is a canvas brass catcher curtain suspended beneath.
