SMS Deutschland from Hess π⚓️π§⛴️π
The Hess company was founded in 1826 in Nuremberg(Germany). Considered one of the oldest tin toy manufacturers. Tin toy railways, ships, toy cars with flywheels were produced. 1941 was the end of the company.
This tinplate warship named "Deutchland" is an excellent example of how the toy industry reacted to technical innovations. The ship was produced from 1910 to 1920 and designed as a floor runner with clockwork drive (Length 21 cm, width 8 cm, height 10.5 cm). You can also notice some Elastolin Kriegsmarine soldiers from 30s.

Karl Bub Moderner GroΓtank 912
This tinplate clockwork tank is presented in the Karl Bub (Germany) 1935 catalog. It seems that Karl Bub engineers were inspired by the British WW1 Mark II tank design.
The tank is accompanied by 7 cm Elastolin compositon soldiers from 30s.
